Capitol Riverfront Market
The new Capitol Riverfront Market, offering fresh produce and local prepared foods, opened on Thursday, May 6th. The market will operate from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every Thursday through November 18th. The market is located at the intersection of New Jersey Ave. SE & M St. SE, adjacent to the Navy Yard Metro (New Jersey Ave exit).
Weekly, the Capitol Riverfront will transform into a festive marketplace with more than ten local farmers and vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, breads and baked goods, herbs and spices, pickles, olive oil, jams, honey, desserts, and more.

Ward 8 Farmers Market
The Ward 8 Farmers Market will open in June at two locations.
Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at 500 Alabama Ave. (June 5th)
Tuesdays, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at United Medical Center 1301 Southern Ave. (June 8th)
