A message from At-Large Councilmember Kwame R. Brown

Dear Friend,

I thank you for supporting my efforts to improve the quality of life of the citizens of the District of Columbia. To help bridge the gap, Councilmembers maintain a Constituent Services Fund for grant emergency assistance for District residents in need. Over the years, my constituent services fund helped DC residents by providing:

• Utility payments for low income residents;
• 500 hats and gloves to youth;
• Assistance to numerous residents displaced by home fires;
• Support for our annual Most Improved Student Awards Ceremony; and
• Sponsorship of our competitive team sporting events.

With the generous support from you and others in the community, my office can continue to provide vital assistance to District residents and organizations.

The maximum contribution by law (D.C. Code Section 1-11-4.03) to my constituent fund is $500 per calendar year. I hope that I can count on your support to continue to assist the residents of the District of Columbia.
