Kwame Takes Time to Congratulate the 2010, One World Education Student Ambassadors

Councilmember Kwame Brown took time to attend the One World Education (OWEd) celebration, honoring the class of 2010 Student Ambassadors. Kwame Urges Mayor Fenty to Close DC Government or Use Liberal Leave Monday

In the interest of public safety, I have informed my staff that our office will be closed on Monday and that they should concentrate on clearing the walkways in their neighborhoods and not risk attempting to come into work. I strongly urge Mayor Fenty to reconsider any attempts to open the Government on Monday before giving residents adequate time to dig themselves and their neighbors out from this historic snow event.
