On September 2, the Marbury Plaza Concerned Tenants-Tenants Association held their First Annual Tenant Choice Awards. The event was intended to increase awareness of tenant rights and raise money for MPCTA’s legal defense fund. DC Residents Sign Up for Adult Vocational Education Classes

Councilmember Brown authored the Get DC Residents Training for Jobs Now Act and fought to fund it in this year’s budget. Now, the first classes are being offered for pre-apprenticeship construction training and hospitality industry career training. The classes are free to adult District residents!
